Exclusive Animal Encounters: 6 new species and new dates available
Do you dream of getting up close to the animals at Beauval in a different way? The new “Exclusive Animal Encounters” calendar is now available, with slots available from September 2026 to 5 February 2027 and new experiences to discover.
Around 40 species to discover in a different way
For 45 minutes, our Exclusive Animal Encounters give you the opportunity to enjoy a rare and personalised experience at the heart of ZooParc de Beauval, accompanied by one of our wildlife educators.
With around 40 species to choose from, there is an encounter for everyone. Depending on the species and what is possible on the day, your experience may take different forms: observing the animals up close, accessing behind-the-scenes areas normally closed to visitors, taking part in a guided feeding session, creating enrichment activities or enjoying exclusive conversations with our teams.
Each encounter is designed with the animals’ welfare and the day-to-day realities of caring for them in mind.
The cheetah is one of the new species available for Exclusive Animal Encounters.
6 new species join our Exclusive Animal Encounters
This new programme also has a few surprises in store with the arrival of six new species:
- Tasmanian devil
- Giant anteater
- Cheetah
- Southern lion
- Southern white rhinoceros
- Spurred tortoise
These new encounters offer even more opportunities to discover the animals from a different perspective and learn more about their behaviour, unique characteristics and the daily work of our teams.

New time slots are now open for booking from September 2026 to 5 February 2027. As places are limited, please book well in advance to secure your preferred date and species.
Exclusive Animal Encounters are available from the age of 6, for groups of 2 to 6 people depending on the species, from €268 for 2 people. Admission to the ZooParc is not included. If you do not have a valid ZooPass, please remember to book your admission ticket as well.
