Tour de France Caravan: listen to the original soundtrack by French Fuse!
Having attracted more than 200 participants and received nearly 30,000 votes, the first national animal sound-imitating competition, #BruitsDeBeauval, is now giving way to the music. In collaboration with composer and musician French Fuse, who has over 10 million followers on social media, ZooParc de Beauval is today unveiling an original soundtrack composed using the imitations of the competition’s 10 winners. A fusion of biodiversity and electronic music that will accompany the Beauval Caravan on the roads of the Tour de France from 4 July.

When animal calls meet electro
French Fuse has taken on a unique challenge: transforming ten animal call imitations into a festive, energetic and decidedly wild electro track.
Known for his ability to transform everyday sounds into viral musical creations, the composer was given free rein to devise a soundtrack that reflects Beauval’s spirit: surprising, immersive and full of energy.
“This is the first time I’ve worked on a project of this scale. Turning animal sounds into a soundtrack for the Beauval Caravan of the Tour de France is a completely new experience for me! By mixing the winners’ recordings, my aim was to forge an auditory link between the Tour’s festive energy and the spirit of Beauval, whilst maintaining genuine musical coherence,” says French Fuse, musician and composer.
A new way of giving a voice to biodiversity
For its second participation in the Tour de France Caravan, Beauval has chosen to explore a new form of expression: sound. Through this original creation, the ZooParc de Beauval continues its mission to raise awareness of species conservation.
“For our second participation in the Tour de France Caravan, we’ve chosen to explore a new medium: sound. It’s a unique, playful and immersive experience that reflects who we are. With this soundtrack, we’re offering a fresh approach to raising awareness of biodiversity conservation,” explains Rodolphe Delord, CEO of ZooParc de Beauval.

Over five weeks, hundreds of participants lent their voices to the first national animal sound-imitating competition, #BruitsDeBeauval. After receiving nearly 30,000 votes, the competition resulted in ten winners being chosen by the general public, the animal keepers and a panel of celebrities comprising Mac Lesggy, Chris Marques, Sandrine Arcizet and Donald Reignoux.

From 4 to 26 July, keep your ears peeled: this sensational animal-themed soundtrack will accompany our four vehicles throughout the Tour de France Caravan’s route.
You can also find us at the Fan Parks in Barcelona, from 2 to 6 July, and in Bordeaux on 9 and 10 July, to take part in our activities and tackle our challenges inspired by the animal kingdom. We hope to see lots of you there!
